Lady Gaga launches Polaroid’s new products at CES 2011

The well known singer Lady Gaga has more then just a singing career on her hands.  The 2011 CES which was held in Las Vegas was where Lady Gaga promoted Polaroid’s new products that are soon to be available.  Since given the position of new creative director Lady Gaga has helped the design team in the products looks and features.

Some of the new products that Lady Gaga presented at the 2011 CES was GL20 which is a pair of sunglasses that has the ability to take pictures, capture and display images and videos on the lenses.  The data from the lenses have the ability to be sent to a USB earpiece.  The sunglasses also can sent the captured picture to a printer via Bluetooth.

Adding on to the sunglasses, what better way to sent the images than to Polaroid’s GL10 printer.  The printer has many features that stand out such as paperback-sized mobile printing unit that can print pictures sent wirelessly from camera phones, camera sunglasses and many more devices.  The GL10 can print 3 x 4 photos in about 40 seconds.

The finally product that was displayed at CES was the GL30. The GL30 is a more traditional looking camera which takes and prints photos using Polaroid’s Zink technology.  The camera also has the features of sharing the images via Facebook and twitter.  As of now, no set date is mentioned as to when the products will become available.
